- Manage construction, maintenance, and site services subcontracts from initial planning and award through project completion and closeout.
- Administer subcontract activities in accordance with established Construction Management policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the subcontractor’s Project Manager throughout project execution.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractor project teams to support successful contract performance.
- Oversee and monitor subcontractor performance, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and overall compliance with contract requirements.
- Ensure subcontractor activities comply with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and applicable organizational standards.
- Monitor subcontractor work to identify potential performance issues, compliance concerns, or risks that could impact project execution.
- Provide appropriate direction and clarification to subcontractors to minimize miscommunication, prevent rework, and maintain alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain clear communication channels between internal project stakeholders and subcontractors to prevent conflicting or unauthorized direction.
- Verify subcontractor adherence to the scope of work, contractual requirements, established procedures, and project expectations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Subcontractor Site Representative to join our team supporting the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) at their Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL)! This position is full-time and will be based out of Niskayuna, NY and will require the person to be onsite.
Responsibilities
Manage construction, maintenance, and site services subcontracts from initial planning and award through project completion and closeout.
