This opportunity is located at our Piedmont Location in South Carolina, within driving distance to the greater Greenville, SC area. WHAT WILL YOU DO
Use of lean methodologies and DMAIC process tools to identify improvements in ergonomics, safety, quality and efficiency. Identify, justify and implement recommended changes through cross functional team collaboration.
Analyze current material flows from market to assembly lines to optimize labor, market inventory levels and space utilization.
Challenge and improve digital solutions.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday-Friday on day shift).
Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science
The ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Success in working with other people or team to meet a common objective.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office® Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software systems.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Currently enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university.
US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis. This position is not available for immigration sponsorship.
