Full description from employer

Step into a high-impact internship where your work matters. At Mutual of Omaha, our Actuarial Internship Program gives you the chance to contribute to a Fortune 500 company through real-world projects—like analyzing financial results, pricing insurance products, and developing new solutions across life, health, and annuities.

This role provides interns with a multi-year experience in the actuarial and innovation areas.

  • Summer after Sophomore year: Interns will spend their first summer contributing to projects involving pricing, reserving, modeling, and data analytics with insurance products. To amplify opportunities to learn about actuarial science and Mutual of Omaha, our interns rotate through two different actuarial areas during the summer.
  • Junior year: At the conclusion of the summer, interns will continue their second rotation in a remote, part time capacity through the school year.
  • Summer after Junior year: After completion of their junior year, interns will return to Mutual of Omaha for a second summer internship.
  • Senior year: In the fall, interns will continue their second rotation while working in a remote, part time capacity.
  • Upon successful program completion: Interns may have the opportunity for a full time role in the Actuarial Student Program.
