What you'll do
- Supervises the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in performing a combination of: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking and palletizing finished products.
- Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to achieve distribution objectives and meet customer requirements and certify that all store material is organized and clearly identified.
- Ensures maintenance of equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with city, state, and federal laws, and ensures a safe, clean environment with the ability to enforce all company work and safety rules, including the proper handling and recording of all hazardous materials.
- Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provides counseling to employees, as required.
- Coordinates work with warehouse and operations manager, telephone sales and other supervisors concerning shipments being shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times, merchandise shortages, etc.
- Maintains various records and reports, such as lost sales, error report, and production report.
- Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit.

Responsabilités du poste :
- Supervise les horaires de travail quotidiens des employés de l'entrepôt impliqués dans diverses tâches telles que : expédition, réception, chargement et déchargement des camions, empilage, prélèvement et palettisation des produits finis.
- Détermine les besoins en espace de stockage et planifie la livraison et la distribution des produits, pièces et accessoires afin d’atteindre les objectifs de distribution, répondre aux exigences des clients et s’assurer que tous les matériaux en magasin sont organisés et clairement identifiés.
- Veille à l’entretien de l’équipement, y compris les véhicules de l’entreprise, conformément aux lois municipales, provinciales et fédérales, et garantit un environnement propre et sécuritaire, tout en appliquant les règles de travail et de sécurité de l’entreprise, y compris la gestion et l’enregistrement appropriés de tous les matériaux dangereux.
- Surveille l’assiduité, la productivité et les autres indicateurs de performance des employés et leur fournit des conseils au besoin.
- Coordonne le travail avec le/la gestionnaire de l’entrepôt et des opérations, les ventes téléphoniques et les autres superviseurs concernant les expéditions à effectuer selon les délais impartis, les ruptures de stock, etc.

Expérience requise :
- De 1 à 3 ans d���expérience préalable dans un domaine lié à l’entrepôt.
- Expérience antérieure dans un entrepôt ou un centre de distribution incluant la manutention de matériaux, le suivi des stocks et la supervision d’autres membres de l’équipe.
Formation :
- Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou expérience équivalente.
Autres compétences :
- La maîtrise de deux langues est un atout, mais non obligatoire
