Liquid Personnel are proud to be working with an independent fostering agency to recruit a passionate and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support foster carers and contribute to high-quality placements that help children and young people thrive.
Your benefits as a Supervising Social Worker:
- Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Full-time role – 40 hours per week + on-call rota

As the Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Recruit, assess, and supervise foster carers to ensure safe, nurturing placements
- Provide regular supervision and support visits to foster families
- Contribute to annual reviews and ensure compliance with fostering standards
- Deliver and support training including ‘Skills to Foster’
- Attend professional meetings and support carers in care planning
- Maintain accurate case recordings and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
- Promote the agency’s services and contribute to business development
Essential requirements of this Supervising Social Worker role:
- Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England
- CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or BA in Social Work
- Experience working with children and families
- Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and care planning
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
