What you'll do
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the engineering team, including Building Engineers I–IV.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Manage departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate and support regulatory and preventive maintenance inspections.
- Collaborate with healthcare department leaders and PDC partners to plan and execute facility improvements.
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards (e.g., NFPA, CMS, FGI, ASHRAE).
- Maintain compliance with PCRA, ICRA, and ILSM requirements, including documentation and implementation.
- Adjust work schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for engineering staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
