What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with suppliers, commodity team, operations, and design engineers.
  • Communicate Emerson supplier performance expectations to suppliers
  • Support Operations in troubleshooting and resolving issues using Problem Solving process
  • Execute processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming to ensure material is available for production within 24 hours
  • Initially qualify or disqualify suppliers utilizing the AQP process
  • Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, and material incoming verification methods
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead supplier evaluation and approval activities using ESAC and PPAP Process.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to ensure timely and effective supplier quality improvements
  • Attend and participate actively in meetings
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize established business systems
  • Take responsibility to monitor and improve key performance metrics
  • Ensure clear, complete supplier requirements documentation and conformance to applicable agency requirements.
