Position Role Type:
UnspecifiedSupplier Quality Assurance is seeking an experienced quality practitioner to be a Pratt & Whitney Supplier Quality Assurance Representative. This position covers the Japan Region and reports to the Sr. SQA Manager of the Asia Region. This person will travel to supplier sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier on-site quality support.
- First Article Inspection approval.
- Manage Supplier Authorized to release program
- Supplier surveillance audits.
- Support PW initiatives throughout the supply base.
- Support quality initiatives at the supply base as required.
- Support escape/non-conformance/RCCA investigation
Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10-15 years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Inspections and/or Quality Auditing experience.
- Japan citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AS9100 and PW specifications preferred.
- Experience with First Article Inspection.
