💻 Your Impact

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring the seamless flow of critical components across the business. You will own the end-to-end demand-to-supply planning process, manage component control, and oversee a portfolio of critical suppliers to secure continuity of supply. Working closely with demand and inventory plans, you will translate forecasts into effective purchasing and budget plans, ensuring procurement activities are aligned with business needs. As the planning backbone of the Procurement team, you will proactively manage supply risks and drive timely component availability, with a particular focus on long-lead-time and business-critical parts.

 

🔧 What You’ll Take On

In your role, you will:

Planning & Purchasing Strategy

• Review the demand and inventory plans and translate them into the purchasing and budget plan.

• Run MRP analysis and convert planning signals into actionable purchase requirements across in-house and contract manufacturer (CMO) lines. Support Procurement team in Purchasing execution.

• Assess where orders can be pulled forward or consolidated to improve supply security, cost and supplier alignment.

• Maintain planning parameters and master data (lead times, safety stock, MOQs, reorder points) in line with the supply chain strategy.

Component Control, Long-Lead & Critical Items

• Monitor component availability and coverage, with dedicated focus on long-lead and business-critical parts, and flag exposure early.

• Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies for critical components.

• Track lead-time changes and forecast their impact on availability and the purchasing plan.

• Manage component end-of-life and last-time-buy planning to protect continuity of supply.

• Set priorities for incoming component inspection and release with Quality Control on a need-by-need basis.

Critical Supplier Portfolio & Order Management

• Own a defined portfolio of critical suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact and holding overall accountability for their delivery, quality and commercial performance.

• Manage relationships across the critical supplier portfolio by sharing forecasts, communicating constraints, aligning on capacity and delivery expectations, and ensuring proactive, transparent collaboration.

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for the portfolio, from demand planning through purchase order execution, production oversight, logistics coordination and final delivery. 

• Develop and monitor KPIs across the portfolio; conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews and drive year-over-year improvements in quality, delivery and cost.

• Facilitate weekly meetings with portfolio of critical suppliers.

Reporting, Compliance & Collaboration

• Issue and distribute planning reports and dashboards to management.

• Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure robust three-way matching and a smooth supplier payment process.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with cross-functional colleagues, specifically R&D, Quality Control and process engineering.

• Ensure master data is set and maintained in alignment with the supply chain strategy, with all work completed to a high level of accuracy and within defined timescales.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal and Company policies and procedures, and perform other related duties as assigned.

📌 What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Professional experience within Supply Chain, Planning or a related function.

• Demand/supply and materials planning experience, including MRP and inventory management.

• Experience managing long-lead and critical/single-source components, including risk mitigation and contingency planning.

• End-to-end supplier / contract manufacturer management experience, including ownership of a portfolio of critical or strategic suppliers.

• Experienced in KPI and supplier performance setting.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel user.

• Living in the Netherlands.
