What you'll do
- Qualify, assess, and monitor suppliers based on quality-system capability, technical competence, capacity, delivery performance, and risk.
- Conduct supplier audits, including quality-management-system, process, product, and special-process audits.
- Manage nonconformance, material review, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and supplier corrective action requests (SCARs).
- Develop and review quality plans, first-article inspection packages, inspection/test records, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation.
- Maintain objective quality evidence that is complete, accurate, traceable, and ready for customer or Government review.

- 8+ years of supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or supplier-development experience.

- Experience applying quality tools such as 5 Why, fishbone analysis, FMEA, control plans, process capability, statistical process control, and risk-based thinking.
- Strong documentation discipline and ability to maintain objective quality evidence that is complete, accurate, traceable, and ready for customer or Government review.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with suppliers, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and customers.
