Supply Chain Consultant (AI-Native)

• Location:  Melbourne or Sydney, covering ANZ and APAC customers

• Travel:  Interstate and international travel across ANZ and APAC, plus occasional trips for training and to meet RELEX teams in other offices

RELEX runs the planning decisions behind hundreds of the world's leading retailers and manufacturers, deciding at real scale what gets forecast, stocked, priced, promoted and produced across the value chain. Few problems combine this much data, this much complexity, and this much real-world weight. Get it right and a shelf stays stocked, a factory line keeps moving, and food does not spoil before it is sold. Get it wrong and it shows up in real losses for some of the biggest brands in the world. 

We have grown for more than 70 consecutive quarters and we are still accelerating. We are a global team of more than 2,000 people, headquartered in Helsinki, with offices across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, including Melbourne and Sydney. We are building the next generation of AI-native RELEX implementations across ANZ and APAC, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to help lead them. 

The role 

This is a hybrid delivery role. Where traditional projects need separate Business and Solution Consultants, this one combines both in a single practitioner, working alongside customer teams and using AI tooling to accelerate delivery across both disciplines. 

It is not a jack-of-all-trades role. It is a force multiplier. You will bring real business and solution consulting depth, plus the AI literacy to do in hours what once took a team of specialists days. You will run business analysis at strategic, operational and organisational levels, own the design and configuration of RELEX solutions end to end, and act as a trusted advisor to your customer stakeholders. You will also support our sales team with solution positioning, benefit analysis, RFIs and ROI cases. 

What you will do 

• Drive AI-accelerated delivery - use AI tooling (for example Claude) and prompt engineering daily to speed up documentation, analysis, configuration and stakeholder communication; produce strong first-draft deliverables for expert review; and build reusable prompts, tools and playbooks that lift the whole team, not just your own work. 

• Business consulting - turn customer objectives into clear requirements, lead process workshops, analyse data and KPIs and present findings to both operational and management audiences, own the backbone of the Solution Design Document, and track KPIs and adoption so the business case is met. 

• Solution consulting - own and build the solution in RELEX's state-of-the-art configuration UI, standing behind build quality and operational robustness, and train customers to use what you have built. 

• Act as a trusted advisor - communicate credibly with stakeholders at every level, steer customers to prevent escalations and handle those that arise, and lead executive presentations and value assessments.

What you will bring 

• Some experience in supply chain or retail consulting, solution consulting, or SaaS implementation. Around three years is a good guide, but we care more about how you think than the exact count. 

• An interest in both sides of delivery: understanding what a customer needs, and helping design and configure the solution that meets it. 

• Direct work experience or exposure in retail or supply chain, for example grocery, CPG / FMCG, general merchandise, or fashion (or the supplier side). 

• You already use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in your everyday work, and you want to get better at it. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how supply chain systems work, on both the business and the technical side. 

• Clear communication, and a knack for explaining something complex simply. 

• Fluent English, and willing to travel across ANZ and APAC. 

A strong plus 

• Exposure to SQL or another query language. 

• A STEM degree, or solid retail experience. 

• A background in consulting, or in building business cases and ROI. 

• Additional languages, useful across APAC. 

• Experience working in an international team.
