Key Responsibilities

•Position: Linux/Android Performance Engineer Experience Required: 2-4 Years Job Profile: • Good understanding of OS concepts and kernel internals. • Ability to handle and triage performance issues on target boards. • Experience in developing Linux kernel drivers and user space drivers. • End to end Performance optimizations on Automotive products on different OSes (Linux, QNX, Green Hills). • Android Experience (Knowledge of Android Framework and boot time optimization) • Boot Loader experience (Good to have) Required Skills: • Proficient knowledge on Linux kernel internals and OS concepts. • Good proficiency in C Programming. • Experience on Linux system programming and device drivers. • Good Debugging & Triaging skills on Linux kernel. • Basic knowledge on profiling tools (ftrace, systrace, etc.) • Hand on experience on Build environment (makefile, crosscompiler setup etc.,) • Knowledge on kernel - compilation, configuration. • Knowledge on target board setup and usage (minicom, serial port, rootfs, vmlinux, bootloaders, tftp etc.) • Knowledge on Version control tool – git & Perforce Preferable Technical Skills: • Android framework knowledge • Boot time optimization • Working knowledge on UEFI • Hands on knowledge on scripting languages: Python or Shell scripting.
