System & SW Quality Engineer - Detect Radar

Your Mission

As a System & SW Quality Engineer, you will be a key partner for our System and Software engineering teams, helping to ensure the quality and robustness of automotive radar products from development through release.

You will combine your System/SW engineering understanding with Quality expertise to identify risks early, challenge technical decisions, support problem solving and ensure that quality is built into the product hand by hand with RnD Team — not just checked at the end.

YOUR CHALLENGES:

• Drive System & SW Quality throughout the project, from development to release.

• Define and monitor quality targets, KPIs, risks and improvement actions together with System & SW PTMs and the Project Quality Lead.

• Work closely with engineers and actively contribute to Design Reviews, Technical Reviews and Release Readiness.

• Assess System & SW development processes and deliverables against ASPICE, customer requirements (CSR) and internal processes such as CB/ticket management.

• Identify quality risks and deviations early, drive them to resolution and escalate critical roadblocks when needed.

• Perform System & SW quality assessments, audits and milestone checkpoints.

• Support engineering teams with structured problem solving, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

• Drive quality topics with suppliers, including requirements, assessments, audits and delivery acceptance.

• Monitor and report System & SW Quality status, KPIs and project risks.

• Apply QRQC, PDCA, FTA and Lessons Learned to solve problems and prevent their recurrence.

• Coach and challenge the development teams, acting as a quality partner rather than a quality gatekeeper.

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU:

• Experience in automotive System or Software Engineering (e.g. System or SW Quality Engineer, System Engineer, Test Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager).

• Good understanding of System Engineering / Software Development processes and the product development lifecycle.

• Experience with ASPICE (ideally certified ASPICE Provisional Assessor) and understanding of automotive Quality processes and standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, understand root causes and drive issues to resolution.

• Ability to challenge constructively, communicate effectively and work closely with System, SW, Project, Quality teams and other stakeholders.

• Proactive and independent approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive topics to closure.

• Good command of English and confidence working in an international environment.

• Technical university degree or equivalent relevant experience.
