  • Can lift a minimum of 35 lbs, as well as being able to, for extended periods, be sitting, walking, standing, or crawling under desks.

Position Title: Systems Administrator

Description of Duties:

The Systems Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Provide technical support to customers including basic inquiries, basic troubleshooting, break/fix needs, and touch maintenance at Tier 1 through remote administrative tools or verbal guidance.
  • Create and execute break/fix tickets for Tier 2 and Tier 3 needs.
  • Support the testing and installation of system patches.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be available to support a variety of tasks/roles, including but not limited to: IT Help Desk functions, coordinating break/fix and customer needs through various channels.
  • Be adaptable to new technologies, new situations, and short deadlines.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and have a strong commitment to a team environment.
  • Be dependable and punctual.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with the various teams and/or customers on efforts as necessary.
  • Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Primary duty hours fall within the hours of 0730-1600, Monday through Friday. Shift work may be necessary and may require occasional overtime or off shift including weekend work depending on task or event support needs.

Compensation Details:

$69,500 – $94,500
