  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and operational activities for mainframe, mini, or client/server-based business systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in managing operating systems such as Windows or UNIX (Linux and Solaris).
  • Plan, implement, and manage custom system solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize system operations and resource utilization.

  • Analyze system faults; identify root causes and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and engage in detailed problem analysis for hardware and operating systems.

  • Conduct thorough reviews and prepare clear and accurate documentation for system testing, software installation, and configuration.
  • Design and execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure system integrity and availability.

Overview

The Work

The Systems Administrator, Senior will be administering, optimizing, and troubleshooting computer systems, including Windows and UNIX systems (Linux or Solaris), ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities

Working Conditions
