What you'll do

  • Coordinate product certification activities for all APTIV CS product lines.
  • Act as the main interface for certification and regulatory compliance topics towards customers, authorities, and certification bodies.
  • Coordinate certification requirements with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage KBA approvals and support E-type approval processes.
  • Lead CE conformity activities, including the preparation and issuance of EU Declarations of Conformity.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and directives, including LVD, EMC, and RoHS requirements.
  • Review technical documentation and assess product readiness for certification and market approval.
  • Coordinate and lead product safety and regulatory risk assessments.
  • Support development teams on regulatory, product safety, and compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for product certification, product safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support manufacturing plants during audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices within the global compliance community.

  • Automotive industry experience and knowledge of Automotive SPICE.
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
