- Develop designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters
- Plan, direct, review, and coordinate the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met
- Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports
- Prepare functional requirements and specification for hardware acquisitions
- Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components that satisfies user's requirements
- Develop hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration, and test timelines
- Conduct site surveys, assessing and documenting current site network configuration and site-unique requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university

- Advanced Linux experience; NSYS level troubleshooting experience
- Automated testing experience
- Scripting experience or at least the ability to walk through scripts for troubleshooting purposes
- Collection system knowledge/experience
- Tiered mission support experience

- Experience with containers

- FORNSAT knowledge, experience within the collection environment
- Ansible experience

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Security Clearance:

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
- Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1)
