What you'll do
- Transfer products from development to production
- Write work, test, and packaging instructions
- Write and implement engineering change orders
- Train employees
- Continuous process improvement
- Develop and build fixtures and production aids
- Provide solutions to engineering problems
- Serve as the engineering point of contact for customers
- Write DFA reports for assembly and manufacturability of systems and sub-systems
- Provide engineering support to departments such as quality, receiving inspection, procurement, IT, and industrial engineering
What they're looking for
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Practical Engineer (Handesai) in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in a manufacturing company
- Very good English
- Proficiency in Solidworks
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies: machining, sheet metal, welding, coating, cable manufacturing (crimping, stripping, soldering, connectors), cable testing standards, aluminum casting, extrusion, plastic injection molding
Nice to have
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanics, electronics, and software (troubleshooting, process definition, reading assembly drawings, assembly instructions, jigs/fixtures)
- Knowledge of finishes (coatings, painting, inspection processes)
