Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist
About this role
We are Nacar.
A solution-first creative partner helping ambitious organizations shape and deliver the right products, services and experiences — with clarity, rigor and creative excellence.
Rooted in Palo Alto, Barcelona, and with studios in Bilbao, Guadalajara, Porto Alegre and China, we're a global team of 130+ Nacarians from more than 23 nationalities. This role will be based in our Barcelona studio.
Twenty years, 70 design awards and 10+ client ecosystems later, we've learned that creativity is only worth something when it turns into real solutions. That's why we work in a way that connects craft with systems — building things that don't just look right, but perform, scale and generate measurable value for our clients.
A Nacarian is a creative orchestrator, shaped by Criteria, Adaptability and Ownership. Someone who reads complexity, anticipates what matters, and moves fast with intent. We come from different disciplines — strategy, research, industrial and digital design, brand, service, engineering — but we share the belief that great ideas only matter when they become real.
Nacar is entering a new chapter. We're strengthening our capabilities, growing into new markets, and building the organization that will shape what's next. With a hybrid work model and flexible hours, we're powered by a culture of communication, collaboration and ownership — with the ambition of becoming the trusted creative decision partner for the leaders redefining the future of their industries.
If you're excited by building — not just joining — this is a great moment to be here.
Is this something you feel identified with?
We're currently looking for a Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist to join our growing HR/Talent team. This role splits its focus between supporting Talent Acquisition and taking full ownership of our Onboarding process, with the opportunity to grow into leading our Performance & Development initiatives over time.
This is not a purely administrative or execution-only role. We're looking for someone who can operate with autonomy, bring structure to processes that are still maturing, and partner closely with the Talent Acquisition and HR teams to keep candidates and new hires supported at every step.
-What will your day to day be like?-
You will:
Support sourcing efforts across open roles (LinkedIn, job boards, direct outreach).
Conduct interviews and evaluate candidate profiles.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews.
Manage and maintain our ATS (Recruitee), keeping candidate information organized and up to date.
Provide timely, thoughtful feedback to candidates throughout the process.
Ensure smooth, consistent communication with candidates at every stage.
Support general organization and documentation of the recruitment pipeline.
Develop and write Job Descriptions for open roles.
Participate in client Kick-Off Meetings.
Own the onboarding process end-to-end, starting from offer acceptance.
Handle all administrative steps related to new hires.
Organize and manage the new hire's schedule during their first days/weeks.
Coordinate meetings with all stakeholders involved in onboarding (managers, teams, IT, etc.).
Participate in and help run welcome/orientation sessions.
Identify gaps in the current onboarding process (today largely manual) and proactively propose improvements, tools, and automation.
Nice to have: take ownership of performance review and potential assessment processes, research best practices and vendor options, and bring proposals to help shape this vertical within the HR team.
-What are we looking for?-
1–3 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or a related People function.
General knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes and onboarding best practices.
Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and a proactive, "let's build it" attitude.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and juggling priorities.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Exposure to performance review processes, HR tools, or process automation.
-Why should you join?-
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow across the full employee lifecycle — from sourcing to onboarding to performance — while joining a center of innovation that's impacting clients all over the world 🙂
