Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

 

Provides professional nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.  Responsible for management of equipment required for procedures.

Qualifications

Education/ Licensure/Certification:

 

·          Graduation from an accredited RN school of nursing and current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.

·          Successful completion of an ACLS and PALS course of study.

·          Competency in administration of conscious sedation.
