Team Lead High Voltage Measurements

We are looking for an ambitious, inspiring, business-focused and people-oriented Team Lead to lead the Technical Asset Services team, which is part of the Department Transmission & Distribution Technology and Power System Planning.

The Northern Europe Power Grids service area within Energy Systems supports a wide range of stakeholders, including Electricity Transmission & Distribution utilities, industrial asset owners, OEMs, developers, investors, and regulators worldwide. As a key partner in the energy transition, we assist with advisory services in expanding and reinforcing grids while leveraging digital transformation. Our extensive service portfolio covers the entire value chain of onshore and offshore electric grids, from power system planning and transmission & distribution technology to asset management and digital system operations.

The Power Grids organisation consists of departments, headed by Head of Department, who report into the Service Area Manager. Within the Power Grids organisation, parts of the Business Development & Sales Management, Project Management and Training activities are concentrated, while the team sizes and team combinations in the two operational departments are optimised to strengthen focus, efficiency and future growth. The teams in the respective departments are headed by Team Leads.

The team Technical Asset Services

The Technical Asset Services team consists of approximately 10team members, including contingent workers and subcontractors. Within the Department Transmission & Distribution Technology and Power System Planning, the team provides field measurement services and studies related to electrical safety and asset performance.

• Measurement services: review and evaluation of lightning protection and grounding measures, diagnostic measurements, EMC measurements and power quality measurements.
• Studies, calculations and advisory services in safety reviews and earthing concepts.

Within our Power Grids organization, we have established a structure that prioritises the development and effective utilisation of staff in operational delivery units. Team Leads, together with their Heads of Department, will be instrumental in realising this ambition by nurturing talent, supporting recruitment, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients and improving business performance.

The Team Lead will play a pivotal role in developing a culture of high performance and strong utilisation, fostering teamwork, innovation, staff development and retention. This will be achieved in close collaboration with peer Team Leads within the department and across other departments.

The position includes managing the team’s resources to ensure their efficient and strategic deployment within the team and across teams, in line with strategic objectives, customer satisfaction and growth ambitions. This requires close collaboration with Business Development, Project Management & Training and other operational delivery departments. Aligning individual capabilities and skills development with business needs is essential to prepare the team for the dynamic requirements of the energy industry.

The Team Lead is responsible for allocating resources to projects and supporting Business Development (BD) and Sales activities. This includes ensuring high performance and quality of deliverables, balancing team capacity between project delivery and BD/Sales activities, maintaining strong alignment with Sales Managers and leading BD/Sales efforts for smaller opportunities within the team.

A significant focus will be on developing existing talent, closing skills gaps and recruiting new talent to ensure that the team remains appropriately resourced and that its service portfolio continues to meet market needs and industry developments.
