- Proven negotiation skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach to decision making
- Strong knowledge of structures standards, codes of practice, and relevant legislation
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements, including CDM
- Extensive experience producing technical designs/specifications and supporting delivery on site
- Confident people manager with strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel efficiently to sites across the borough

Team Leader - Highways Structures
Location: Bedfordshire
Rate: £316-£400 per day
Contract: interim/ongoing
Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority to appoint a Team Leader within the Structures and Street Lighting team.
This role will act as the key technical lead for highway structures, providing day to day leadership to the team and taking ownership of urgent decision-making, including emergency call outs, to keep the network safe and operational.
