What you'll do
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area, ensuring equipment is used only by trained personnel. Support stock accuracy, follow PPE and ESD requirements, and uphold high housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Promote productive working practices, minimise downtime, and support the ongoing development and training of team members.
- Assemble, test, and calibrate products to quality standards using approved procedures and documentation. Provide technical support, fault-finding expertise, and work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Service teams.
- Help ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. Proactively communicate and resolve issues that may impact customer delivery, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and key performance measures.
- Complete performance management tasks, objectives, and departmental administration accurately and on time. Follow all health, safety, and compliance requirements, including accident reporting, risk assessments, COSHH regulations, and company procedures.

Job Description:
Instron are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Team Leader to join our Transducer production team based at our High Wycombe site. As a Team Leader you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, driving operational improvements, supporting inventory management activities, and helping to develop colleagues within the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Health, Safety & Workplace Organisation - Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area, ensuring equipment is used only by trained personnel. Support stock accuracy, follow PPE and ESD requirements, and uphold high housekeeping and 5S standards.

You will ideally have experience in:
- Assembly and disassembly of mechanical or electromechanical products and machinery.
- Testing, calibration and fault diagnosis of electromechanical equipment.
- Product repair and technical troubleshooting.
Qualifications
While full training will be provided, the following would be advantageous:
- Level 4 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing.
Equivalent experience will also be considered.
