Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
We are looking for experienced Teamcenter Solution Experts with a strong focus on PLM process consulting and functional solution design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in defining and optimizing Teamcenter-based PLM processes, translating business requirements into functional solutions, and driving stakeholder alignment across engineering and manufacturing organizations.

This role is focused on business process consulting and functional architecture rather than Teamcenter customization or technical development.

Key Reponsibilities:

• Lead the functional solution design and conceptualization of end-to-end PLM processes using Siemens Teamcenter.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define future-state Teamcenter solutions.

• Drive requirements engineering activities, including:

   

• Requirements elicitation

   

• Documentation and structuring

   

• Prioritization

   

• Validation

   

• End-to-end traceability

• Define and optimize Teamcenter processes across:

   

• Design BOM (EBOM)

   

• Part BOM

• Manufacturing BOM (MBOM)

• Bill of Process (BOP)

• Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECR/ECO)

• Requirements Management

Facilitate workshops, design thinking sessions, and functional decision-making meetings with business and IT stakeholders.

Prepare functional specifications, solution concepts, process flows, use cases, and business process documentation.

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and Teamcenter developers to ensure functional requirements are translated into scalable solutions.

Support solution validation, fit-gap analysis, testing, and user acceptance activities.

Provide functional guidance during implementation, rollout, and process harmonization initiatives.

Drive adoption of Teamcenter best practices and standard capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customizations.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development within the Teamcenter consulting practice.

 

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience :

9+

Mandatory/requires Skills :
10+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, with significant experience in functional consulting and solution design.

• Strong understanding of Teamcenter data model and core PLM capabilities.

• Expertise in Teamcenter business processes including:

• Engineering BOM (EBOM)

• Part Management

• Manufacturing BOM (MBOM)

• Bill of Process (BOP)

• Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)

• Requirements Management

• Document Management

• Classification

• Workflow Management

• Strong experience in PLM process consulting and business process transformation.

• Hands-on experience in requirements engineering and business analysis methodologies.

• Proven ability to conduct stakeholder workshops and facilitate cross-functional discussions.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience preparing functional specifications, process maps, and solution blueprints.

• Experience with Active Workspace (functional perspective).

• Knowledge of Teamcenter Manufacturing modules.

• Familiarity with integrations involving Teamcenter and SAP ERP, MES, or CAD applications.

• Preferred Skills :
  Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.

• Exposure to Digital Thread, Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), and Systems Engineering concepts.

• Teamcenter certification is an added advantage.
