Tech Events Manager

Context

The Marketing/GTM team drives brand visibility and pipeline generation through an active presence at industry trade shows, proprietary events, and communication campaigns. This role joins a team that already runs its event calendar through internal tools (trade show scoring, budget go/no-go, ROI, CEO speaking engagements).

Key Responsibilities

Trade shows / industry events

• Identify and qualify relevant trade shows (audience, cost, expected ROI) against internal scoring criteria

• Manage end-to-end logistics: booth/partners booking, badges, travel, accommodation, materials

• Coordinate on-site Sales/FDE teams and set meeting-booking goals

• Track budget and measure ROI (qualified leads, pipeline generated, cost per lead)

Side events

• Design and run proprietary events: client dinners, workshops, meetups, prospect breakfasts

• Manage venue selection, catering, invitations, attendance follow-up and feedbacks

• Work with Account Executives to target the right audience

Communication events

• Support speaking engagements (keynotes, panels, conferences): logistics, materials, speaker coordination

• Contribute to product launches and brand milestones (announcements, press presence)

• Ensure brand consistency across all event materials (H Company guidelines)

Planning & reporting

• Maintain the event calendar and overall budget

• Produce regular reporting (ROI, leads, learnings) for Marketing and Communication leadership.

• Capture learnings to improve future events

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in event management (agency, B2B tech/SaaS company, or equivalent) and/or international hospitality

• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects in parallel under pressure (>100 events a year)

• Comfortable with budget tracking and quantitative reporting

• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptive with varied stakeholders (prospects, clients, vendors, leadership)

• Curiosity towards new events planning processes, locations and tech ecosystem.

• Fluent in English (international environment). Speaking French is a plus.

• Prior experience in B2B tech / SaaS is a real plus
