Job Brief:

               Fisdom’s Research Department is seeking a bright technical analyst with personality traits aligned with a quality-focused and result-oriented culture. The technical analyst is expected to represent the department across internal and external forums requiring opinions on a variety of subjects related to Indian equities and associated derivative strategies. The technical analyst will have the right to express conviction around the subject matter but will be duty-bound to ensure that the highest degree of analytical rigour is implemented. The analyst is expected to be passionate about the subject along with a vision to develop the technical analytics desk as a performance and thought leader in the segment through strong performance delivery, tight adherence to processes and development of high-quality research collateral.

Job Description:

•          Analyse and closely track equities, indices, bonds, commodities, and currencies using technical tools.
•           Generating medium/long-term trading recommendations and developing trading strategies based on technical calls.
•           Creating detailed Research Reports with market outlook and recommendations
•           Prepared detailed research reports on the technical outlook of various asset classes
•           Recommended long-term investment ideas and short-term trade picks for internal stakeholders.
•           Involvement in client acquisition and presentation of reports on market strategy and investment recommendations.
•           Develop a strong team of technical analysts through the effective use of technology, people, and processes
•           Maintain research registry along with logs of recommendations developed
•           Continuous monitoring of recommendation strike rate with an objective to achieve industry-leading rates.
•           Develop written SOPs and process manuals to ensure the scalability of the function.

Requisites:

•           3+ Years of Experience in Technical Analysis. Experience with an established stockbroking firm is preferred.
•            Hands-on experience in excel
•            Proficiency in using technical analysis software(s)
•            Expertise in various chart patterns and technical market indicators in all segments of the market and various indices.
•  Ability to identify the market trend through technical analysis.
