What you'll do
- Review of SO/WO/SoW/BOQ for of Projects electrical and instrumentation works, Facilities E&I works.
- Review of drawings (ISO/P&ID/GAD/AS/BOM) of Piping, Pipeline, Flowlines, Storage Tanks, Pressure vessels, Equipments, Structurals works
- Evaluate the mechanical aspects of projects, operations, and processes against relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Routine surveillance audits/verification of ongoing works /activities with respect to quantity and quality perspective and identify deviations to SOPs/Std.Engg. Practices and timely capturing deviations/violations.
- Scrutinize Invoices/Bills pertaining to Project Works and certification including identification of quantity variations, deviation and deduct / with hold as appropriate.
- Monitoring usage/consumption of Company free issue materials and verification of reconciliations reports.
- Determine areas where improvements can be made to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability
- Identify safety violations/ unsafe acts if any noticed and report to the concerned.
- Review of various quality records/documents -Material test certificates, Visual, Nondestructive and Destructive test reports, Painting, Coating, PWHT, Pressure Test reports,
- Prepare comprehensive activity reports periodically.
- Physically inspect equipment, facilities, and processes to verify compliance and identify potential issues
What they're looking for
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 - 4 years experience in managing Mechanical Drawings and Procurement in EPC projects
- Experience in the field of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, Mining & Metal Extraction Sectors as applicable with working exposure in major EPC Projects.
- Computer Literacy (MS-Office)
- Communication skills
- A thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas context is essential
- Expertise in relevant mechanical engineering disciplines, such as piping systems, equipment maintenance, and instrumentation
Nice to have
- Certification of CSWIP3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI/SCWI, NACE CIP-Level-2, ASNT Level II in NDT in PT, RT, UT.
- QMS Internal Auditors training to ISO9001:2015 as applicable preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the oil and gas sector, is highly valued

KEY RESPONSBILITIES
Review of SO/WO/SoW/BOQ for of Projects electrical and instrumentation works, Facilities E&I works.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Familiarity in reading, understanding & review of drawings (Piping isometrics, Pressure vessels, Tankages, Equipments, Structural etc.) and related bill of materials.
Familiarity on QA/QC processes applicable to Pipeline, Piping, Tankages, Pressure vessels, Equipments, Structural works specifically in Oil &Gas upstream/mid-stream/down stream, Power, Mining & Metal extraction sectors.
Knowledge of various International standards-ASME/ASTM/API/BS/ISO etc.
Knowledge of Materials, Welding & NDT processes
Familiarity in Estimation & Quantity Survey.
