  • Acting as Project Director or Technical Lead on key commissions, you'll oversee the delivery of business cases, operational modelling, strategic transport studies, and infrastructure planning projects.
  • You'll also lead and mentor a growing team of specialists, foster collaboration across disciplines, and champion innovation in areas such as zero-emission fleet transition, digital planning tools, and integrated multimodal network design.

Overview         

Due to continued growth across our public transport advisory business, particularly in bus and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) networks, AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Director – Bus Operations & Planning. In this leadership role, you'll provide strategic and technical direction across a diverse portfolio of planning, operational, and infrastructure projects, helping clients deliver efficient, reliable, and customer-focused public transport networks.

Working closely with government agencies, operators, and project teams, you'll lead the development of innovative transport solutions, drive business growth, and shape the future of bus and multimodal transport systems across Australia.
