  • Provide day-to-day service management for real-time fraud detection and the bank's centralised audit database, required for SOX compliance.
  • Subject Matter Expertise - Develop deep working knowledge of Banks (Retail & Corporate) applications, their services, batch jobs, and integration points.
  • Incident & Problem Management - Monitor and manage incidents in ServiceNow, ensuring timely triage, escalation, and resolution across both platforms.
  • Proactive Monitoring - Oversee Pre-Production and Production environments during working hours using Dynatrace, Kibana, and other monitoring tools to catch issues early.
  • Drive Best Practices - Apply ITIL Service Management principles to continuously improve incident, problem, and change processes.
  • Out-of-Hours Support - Participate in planned out of hours patching and change activities (~2-3 times per month), coordinating with Unix, DBA, and infrastructure teams to minimise disruption.
  • Obsolescence & Migration Support - Contribute to strategic infrastructure programmes including Application replatforming from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 9 and removal of legacy clustering
  • General obsolescence such as RHEL 7.9-> 8 updates or RabbitMQ/IBM MQ upgrades

Role responsibilities
