Technical Lead - Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled technical lead to oversee and manage our cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and overall DevSecOps strategies. This role is critical for ensuring smooth deployment processes, cost-effective cloud management, and robust security practices across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with a deep understanding of FinOps and DevSecOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure administration focusing on AWS while supporting Azure and GCP environments as required.
• Monitor and enhance system reliability, incident management, and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with DevSecOps best practices, integrating security into the development lifecycle.
• Optimize cloud costs and efficiency, driving FinOps practices for resource utilization.
• Monitor system performance and health using telemetry tools, identifying potential issues proactively.
• Automate processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance system reliability.
• Troubleshoot critical issues and enhance system performance.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards, including HITRUST, SOC 2, and similar frameworks
• Lead effective project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery of objectives while mentoring and managing junior engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or ECE.
• 6+ years of DevOps experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency in AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container management.
• Expertise in cloud-native deployment architectures using tools like Kubernetes, Crossplane, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Expertise in DevSecOps and integrating security at all stages of the development pipeline.
• Hands-on experience with FinOps for cloud cost optimization.
• Familiarity with telemetry and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Proficiency in shell scripting, and knowledge of Python programming
• Demonstrated experience in system reliability engineering and incident management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills, with a proven track record of effective project and people management.
• Familiarity with AI-first systems or prior experience supporting AI-based workloads is a plus.
