Technical Product Manager - Edtech - 4+ Years - Mumbai

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the end-to-end product lifecycle for technology platforms supporting student, faculty, academic, and administrative experiences. This role will act as a bridge between engineering and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into clear product specifications while ensuring high-quality execution and scalable product delivery.

Responsibilities –

1. Act as the primary liaison between technology/engineering teams and business stakeholders including academic leadership, admissions, operations, marketing, and finance.
2. Translate business, academic, regulatory, and operational requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
3. Own the complete product lifecycle including discovery, requirement gathering, prioritisation, specification, development, QA, launch, and continuous iteration.
4. Manage and prioritise product backlogs based on business impact, user requirements, academic calendars, technical feasibility, and organisational priorities.
5. Work closely with engineering teams on sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management, UAT, bug prioritisation, and structured product rollouts.
6. Define and monitor product success metrics including adoption, performance, error rates, user satisfaction, and release outcomes.
7. Coordinate with academic and business stakeholders to ensure smooth UAT and implementation during admissions, examinations, semester transitions, and other critical academic cycles.

Requirements –

1. 3–7 years of experience in product management, business analysis, technical product management, or a similar bridge role.
2. Experience in EdTech, SaaS, education technology, or another regulated/process-heavy industry is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, requirement gathering, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product prioritisation.
4. Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release management.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business/academic stakeholders.
