  • Responsible for execution of spacecraft programs that cover the entire program lifecycle – proposal development, kickoff, development, test, build and launch
  • Lead analysis of contractual requirements, prepare cost and time estimates, and identify associated risks & opportunities during business development and major program phases.

  • Experience identifying issues, tracking progress, and following through with effective corrective actions plan
  • Experience managing programs using program schedules, earned value, risks, slack time, and critical path
  • Ability to quickly assess a situation and make sound, proactive decisions
  • Plan for resource allocation needs and work with Department Managers for staffing
  • Oversee execution and burndown of Program Risks

JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to support our Spacecraft Programs and will identify needed resources for projects, define and assign major program roles, lead the establishment of and sets integrated based budget and schedule baselines, and monitor work accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on the balance between program risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets.  

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation:  

Annual Base Salary Range: $180,000 to $215,000/per year  

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and is determined within a range. Your actual base salary will be determined on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.  Our benefit plans include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, short and long term disability and life insurance. We also offer flexible PTO, along with 11 paid holidays, sick time and paid parental leave.  

This is a full-time position in San Jose, California, Hybrid, or Remote. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required.
