Technical Project Coordinator

Job Summary

The Technical Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and tracking healthcare IT and clinical AI project delivery from kickoff through go-live. This role maintains project plans and milestones, facilitates cross-functional communication across Software Engineering, Product Management, Clinical Specialists, and Client Operations, manages project documentation and action items, and supports readiness activities so projects meet schedule, quality, and operational requirements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

• Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and resource trackers for assigned healthcare IT and clinical AI projects.

• Monitor progress against milestones, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and escalate risks and issues to project leadership.

• Coordinate cross-functional go-live readiness activities, including pre-launch requirements, testing checkpoints, and operational readiness criteria.

• Draft and distribute clear project status updates and go-live communications to internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Serve as a central point of contact for project queries and information flow among engineering, clinical, product, and client-facing teams.

• Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas and pre-read materials, capture decisions and action items, and follow up with owners through completion.

• Organize and maintain project repositories, templates, agreements, manuals, and reports with current, accessible version control.

• Support dependency tracking across workstreams and help keep delivery aligned to agreed scope and timelines.

• Apply established PMO processes and tools (for example, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent) to keep status accurate and visible.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of project tracking, documentation, and communication practices.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (required).

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or project management, preferably in healthcare, IT, software development, or biotechnology (required).

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or equivalent (required).

• Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize discussions into concise, actionable summaries (required).

• Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail when managing multiple overlapping tasks and projects (required).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders (required).

• Preferred: CAPM, PMP, or active progress toward a project management credential.

• Preferred: Experience in an Agile or Scrum software development environment.

• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare compliance, medical imaging, or clinical workflows.

Travel

This position may require domestic travel up to 10% to support customer implementations.

Salary:

55,000-60,000 USD
