  • Design, deploy, and execute a best-in-class account strategy to maximize NXP design wins at a major automotive customer.
  • Provide strategic assessment of new business opportunities in cooperation with product teams. Evaluate opportunities based on the entire value chain, considering several criteria, such as technological differentiators, strategic fit, profitability, and timing.
  • Coordinate globally and facilitate joint business meetings across product teams, functional units, and geographies.
  • Drive strategy towards BL goals (i.e., roadmap development, alignment of support resources, product design in)

  • Understand and influence customer hardware architecture to position NXP's solutions across multiple technologies.
  • Develop solid and long-term influential relationships with key decision makers within customer teams at all levels to favorably position NXP as a trusted partner and adviser.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer management meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates and build strong relationships.
  • Provide customer product information, including roadmaps, demonstrations, pricing, and delivery quotations.
  • Develop and maintain an intimate working knowledge of the customer’s supply chain, production plans, ramp-up/-downs, and product demand.
  • Maintain and report awareness of major customer trends, trade development, and competitive activity.
  • Ability to travel as required (e.g. Ottawa, Canada; Novi, MI)

Location: Sunrise, FL

The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) will be a critical member of a major automotive account team located in Novi, Michigan. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape NXP’s business with one of the most exciting and innovative customers in the automotive industry. The TSE will develop and expand relationships with strategically important contacts at our customer, cultivating new design opportunities, influencing roadmap decisions, and executing our growth strategy. Your knowledge of the automotive industry and ecosystem will help leverage and position NXP as a best-in-class partner. The ideal candidate has a strong semiconductor background, Account Management experience, and able to work remotely as part of a cross functional team.
