Technical Technician Apprentice

Are you interested in structural and foundation testing? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in engineering environments, along with knowledge of structural testing and instrumentation, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Assist with the administration of projects.
• Develop an understanding of the equipment and activities undertaken.
• Provide office-based support to onsite teams during installation works.

Qualifications

To be a successful Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

• GCSE English and maths (A-C) or equivalent: Essential
• Driving Licence: Preferred
