Technical Trainer

🌍Genetec - Protect the everyday 

We are a group of trainers committed to delivering quality knowledge and instruction to Genetec customers, partners, and employees throughout the Asia Pacific region. Our goal is to foster knowledge-building experiences for others to be confident in their understanding and using the products within their Genetec portfolio. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously develop training resources and ensure smooth processes. 

🔎What your day will look like: 

• Provide technical training for Genetec customers, partners, and internal teams, primarily from the Singapore office 

• Develop training presentations, manuals, and course outlines 

• Update existing training resources as Genetec’s product line evolves, and continuously improve documentation practices 

• Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of Genetec’s product line 

• Contribute to a positive, complementary team culture through respect, support, and inclusion amongst your colleagues

• Ability to collaborate and foster communication internally and externally 

• Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences 

• Professional working level of English and local language 

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region, and occasionally internationally, up to 50% of the time 

• Desire to be a part of and support a diverse, inclusive, respectful work environment 

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 

💥Technical Expertise  

• Experience within the Physical Security and/or Software industry 

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems 

• Knowledge of networking principles and IP protocol 

• Experience with networking and database concepts, and client-server environments 

• Experience with PC configuration and troubleshooting 

💎Even better if you have these assets  

• Experience with Genetec products 

• Knowledge of additional Asian languages
