Technician for Heavy Vehicle (0244 Dec 2024)

Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a skilled Technician for Heavy Vehicle to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment utilized in marine operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing regular maintenance and inspections on heavy vehicles to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
• Repairing and replacing defective components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work accurately
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with other technicians and team members to enhance vehicle performance
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in heavy vehicle technology and repair techniques

Requirements

• Possess a ITE /Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working as a technician for heavy vehicles
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with the repair and maintenance of various heavy vehicle brands and models will be advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when necessary
• Those without any working experience but with engineering education and keen on hands on job can also apply
