What you'll do

  • Build, assemble, install, and test complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and equipment using hand and power tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across subsystems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and drive design or process improvements
  • Redline assembly and test instructions
  • Support quality and manufacturing engineering teams on production issues and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives

We are looking for a highly motivated Technician II, Sub-Assembly to join our team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electro-mechanical technician who is passionate about building impactful technology and contributing to meaningful change in the world.

This opportunity is an onsite full-time 9-month contracting position based in our Fremont, CA office.

 How You’ll Contribute

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • AA/AS in engineering, physics, or a related field preferred, and 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly
  • Hands-on experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, instruments, or production equipment
  • Experience building wiring harnesses from engineering documentation, including interpreting schematics, wire lists, assembly drawings, and work instructions

This contracting position offers an hourly pay rate between $27/hour and $30/hour, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
