  • Manage permanent and contingent engineering capacity to meet current and future demand, maintaining a forward-looking view of capability, workforce needs and delivery priorities.
  • Represent Data Delivery in divisional planning, prioritisation and portfolio discussions.
  • Provide clear visibility of capacity constraints, capability gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • Deploy data engineers and squads to support divisional priorities, balancing demand, capability uplift and workforce sustainability.
  • Develop engineering capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning and technical leadership.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and AI-enabled data engineering.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise data platforms, data products, engineering standards and target-state architecture.
  • Influence business and technology stakeholders to increase reuse, standardisation and industrialisation.

As Tech Domain Owner - Data Delivery, you will own the data engineering capability aligned to your division. You will create the conditions for engineers and squads to deliver, run and continually improve technology outcomes safely, sustainably and consistently, while accelerating adoption of enterprise platforms, standards and target-state engineering patterns. 

This is a highly influential leadership role connecting Data Delivery, divisional priorities and enterprise strategy. You will align engineering capacity, capability and workforce investment to the outcomes that matter, reduce duplication through reuse and standardisation, and strengthen delivery predictability and engineering maturity. 

DDAI and divisional partnership …
