  • Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm management products & services across the assigned territory hospital network.
  • Work with the team to achieve sales revenue targets by developing or strengthening relationships with clinical and hospital stakeholders and key decision makers through effective sales & service strategies.
  • Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency
  • Ensure the highest level of clinical, technical and sales knowledge is attained and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), and Business Development Managers (BDM) to assist in the execution on business plans
  • Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, customer insights, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support product evaluations, customer education programs and workshops.
  • Consistently meet quarterly performance objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Build relationships with procurement to drive tender activity, commercial negotiations and execution of partnership agreements.
  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager
  • Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand

A Day in the Life

An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to be an integral member of our highly successful Cardiac Rhythm Management team in Sydney. This is an excellent role for an individual with strong clinical experience in cardiac pacing devices. Your clinical guidance and technical expertise will prove to be valuable for driving business growth and delivering best possible outcomes to our customers

Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. CRM innovations are now important more than ever. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: 

  • Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm management products & services across the assigned territory hospital network.

  • Work with the team to achieve sales revenue targets by developing or strengthening relationships with clinical and hospital stakeholders and key decision makers through effective sales & service strategies. Act as Medtronic’s primary liaison and be the preferred partner for patient care.

  • Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency

  • Ensure the highest level of clinical, technical and sales knowledge is attained and maintained. Achieve sales and territory management learning goals and ensure all education programs are completed to a high standard.

  • Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), and Business Development Managers (BDM) to assist in the execution on business plans

  • Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies. Influence key stakeholders and support broader business initiatives across the organization.

  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, customer insights, and emerging opportunities.

  • Support product evaluations, customer education programs and workshops.

  • Consistently meet quarterly performance objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and healthcare industry regulations.

  • Build relationships with procurement to drive tender activity, commercial negotiations and execution of partnership agreements. Clear Purchase orders in a timely manner.

  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager

  • Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Significant experience in clinical cardiac sales, account planning, territory management and forecasting

  • Demonstrated experience with cardiac pacing devices

  • Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver’s license required
