Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer with hands-on semiconductor manufacturing test experience. The role focuses on manufacturing test execution, yield improvement, production issue troubleshooting, supplier management, and quality improvement in high-volume manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and semiconductor production testing. Experience with Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest 93K, Digital/Compute products, Automotive products, or Module SLT testing is a plus.
- Lead and support manufacturing and production test activities at ODMs and suppliers.
- Drive yield improvement, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production-related issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to improve manufacturing quality and test readiness.
- Support manufacturing test hardware and software stability in high-volume production.
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify yield and quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve production challenges.
- Participate in technical audits and manufacturing process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of semiconductor manufacturing test or related experience.
- Hands-on experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
- Good understanding of wafer sort and final test processes.
- Good understanding of hardware debugging and failure analysis.
- Experience in yield improvement and production issue troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor devices and electronic circuits.
- Basic data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of reliability testing, quality concepts, and RMA processes.
- Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, or related experience.
- Experience with Teradyne UltraFLEX and/or Advantest 93K.
- Experience supporting Digital, Compute, or Automotive products.
- Experience with Module SLT testing.
- Experience working with ODMs, OSATs, or external manufacturing partners.
- Strong supplier management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
