About the Job:
The Third-Party Product & Vendor Coordination - Executive at GO DESi supports food manufacturing and quality processes by ensuring adherence to FSSAI standards, managing production data and reports in Excel, documenting SOPs, coordinating with vendors, and tracking production timelines and logistics. The role requires vendor interactions, factory visits, teamwork across functions, and flexibility to travel, offering practical exposure to food industry operations in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Launch & Sourcing: Take ownership of finding, sampling, and launching new snacks (Strong hand in snack will be preferred), alongside other projects .
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Travel directly to supplier factories and third-party units to oversee active production runs, quality, and dispatches. Manage good vendor relationships.
- Cost & Commercial Control: Actively look for mindful ways to drive down costs on our top-selling SKUs by aggressively optimizing raw material and packaging sourcing.
- ERP & Financial Coordination: Hand-deliver data discipline, in ERP, maintain sharp inventory accuracy, perform physical stock reconciliations, and manage vendor payments, PRs, POs & all other financial coordination's smoothly.
- Quality & Compliance: Strong hand in creating & maintaining Quality related reports, updated while ensuring all vendor manufacturing activities comply strictly with FSSAI and internal quality checklists.
The Ideal Candidate (What We Are Actually Looking For)
- Street Smart & High Impact: Outstanding communication skills are a must. Need to know exactly how to talk to vendors, handle tough calls, and respect.
- Proven Launch Experience: Have handled at least (one or few) product launch end-to-end or launch level in the past and genuinely enjoy hunting for new products and trends.
- Action-Oriented & Resilient: Possess an "on-the-go" attitude toward new projects and has the backbone to make tough, independent decisions when things don't go as planned.
- Data Executioner: Don't look for just a theoretical planner. Should have strong Excel skills to back up ground-level execution and keep data tight.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Food Operations, Sourcing, or Supply Chain (F&B / FMCG sectors preferred).
