Aerospace Tooling Technician
Location: Grand Prairie, Tx
Shift: Days- 6:00AM-2:30PM
Starting Pay: $28.44/hour
Eligibility: Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
As a Tooling Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).
- Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.
- Ordering and Installing replacement parts.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g. mechanical and electrical).
- Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield.
- Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.
- Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Preferred Tooling Experience of 4 to 5 years.
- Experience with welding and machining.
- Experience and understanding of lathe and milling machines
- Experience with CNC Machine for Metal
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
· Ability to push/pull 51 lbs. or more.
· Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
· Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
