  • Lead and perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities including Cash & Bank entries, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, Intercompany and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reconciliations in accordance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and FP&A to ensure consistent financial data.
  • Understand business needs when data/case becomes complex during the month and right analysis of the same.
  • Ensure consistency in analyzing the real estate accounts, balances and its impact on reconciliation.
  • Ensure single source of truth in data.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and On-Shore.
  • Simplify and automate processes to increase accuracy and reduce manual modes.

You Will be:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate – General Accounting (General Ledger) to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, leading month-end close activities, and supporting reporting and compliance requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
 

Role Summary:

  • Work with other team members who are connected to the process to coordinate all process / transactional dots and strengthen the process understanding and process control.
  • Be a SME, to make sure there is proper control on the period activity which helps to understand all DR/CR balances.
