Location: Prague, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow, or Budapest

Work Arrangement: Field-based – very frequent travel across the United Kingdom, EMEA, and beyond as capability develops

Employment: Permanent

As a Trainee Installation Specialist, you will travel to customer sites to help install and set up CribMaster intelligent storage and tool management devices, while building your technical skills through training and real-world experience. Travel is a major part of the role, and you can expect to spend around 2–3 weeks each month visiting sites and supporting installations. The Job:

As the Trainee Installation Specialist, you’ll be part of our CribMaster EMEA Team. You’ll get to:

  • Support the installation of CribMaster hardware, including intelligent storage cabinets, vending machines, and tool tracking units, under supervision.
  • Assist with pre-project requirement gathering by helping to understand customer needs, site conditions, tools, data, processes, and solution expectations.
  • Learn the fundamentals of RFID, hardware setup, and safe working practices, and support technical activities when trained and authorised.
  • Assist with maintenance, checks, troubleshooting, and diagnosis, escalating issues when additional support is needed.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Technical Support Team to broaden product knowledge, troubleshooting capability, and customer understanding.
  • Help consolidate, validate, cleanse, and prepare customer data for accurate database imports.
  • Support simple end-user guidance where appropriate, with more experienced team members leading customer training and handover activities.
  • Work closely with the Installation Team Lead, Project Coordinator, and wider Implementation Team to understand project goals and daily priorities.
  • Learn how requirements, configuration, workflows, data, and hardware design connect to build effective customer solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records, status updates, and time logs, while following structured installation processes, safety guidance, and training instructions consistently.

  • A willingness and ability to travel very frequently, often weekly, and to support customer needs at short notice as capability develops.
