  • Develop and implement the annual Training & Development plan based on organizational and departmental requirements.
  • Identify Training Needs (TNI/TNA) based on competency gaps, performance, KRA and skill requirements.
  • Develop and maintain skill matrix and competency matrices for employees, operators and technicians.
  • Design training programs for new employees, existing employees, contract workers and temporary workers.
  • Develop skill-based training modules for Foundry operations such as Melting & Furnace Operations, Moulding, Core Shop, Sand Plant, Fettling & Shot Blasting, Quality & Laboratory, Maintenance, Crane & Material Handling, Gatecutting/Patternshop, Safety and Emergency Response.
  • Establish and monitor OJT, classroom and practical training programs.
  • Develop training materials, SOP-based training modules, work instructions and evaluation questionnaires.
  • Conduct skill-level assessments and competency evaluations for employees.
  • Monitor effectiveness of training through post-training evaluation, skill improvement and workplace performance.
  • Maintain complete training records, attendance, assessment results and competency certification.
  • Develop and implement L1/L2/L3/L4 skill certification systems as applicable.
  • Coordinate with HODs and Section In-Charges to identify critical skill gaps and improvement areas.

Location: Wai Dist-Satara Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual Training & Development plan based on organizational and departmental requirements.

  • Ensure training compliance related to quality, safety, environment and customer requirements.
  • Support internal / customer audits related to competency and training records.
  • Develop internal trainers through a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Training Need Identification, Competency Development and Skill Matrix Management.
  • Experience in shop-floor training and operator skill development.
  • Good understanding of foundry manufacturing processes will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of KRA, KPI, competency assessment and performance management.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and people-management skills.
  • Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Quality and Safety systems will be an advantage.
