- Coordinate and schedule road transportation operations, including dispatching trucks and managing freight movements using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as ALVYS and TRINIUM.
- Utilize SAMSARA IFLEET and GPS technology to optimize routes, monitor vehicle locations, and improve delivery efficiency.
- Manage internal communication channels to relay instructions, updates, and delivery schedules effectively across teams.
- Handle shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accurate data entry, documentation, and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Oversee fleet management activities, including vehicle dispatching, maintenance scheduling, and tracking using fleet management tools.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, suppliers, and customers via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced customer service.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements while managing logistics operations.
- Support logistics functions such as 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) coordination and freight management to streamline supply chain activities.
