What you'll do

- Train, coach, and mentor team members as needed to promote safe and effective job performance.
- Support other departments with transportation-related needs.

Homewood is seeking a Transportation Lead to join the Parking & Transportation Department.
Job Summary:
The Transportation Lead is responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of guests and employees. This position supervises the transportation team, coordinates schedules and routes, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of drivers and operators.
- Manage transportation schedules, routes, assignments, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure drivers and operators follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, equipment, and transportation operations and address deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate transportation, driver, vehicle, maintenance, inspection, and incident records.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Class C Driver License and a driving record meeting the standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier.

- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $22.60 – $28 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
