Job Summary

Our City Solutions/Transportation Planning team anticipates a Practice Manager (Office Manager) opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, within the next 3–6 months. We’re connecting now with experienced leaders who are ready to make an impact, build and lead a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our Los Angeles practice.

The Practice Manager, West will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, oversee project delivery, and lead a high-performing team. This leader will play a key role in implementing the regional growth strategy, expanding market share, ensuring technical excellence, and representing TYLin through industry engagement and thought leadership.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional registration preferred.

• Approximately 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in consulting or the public sector, including leadership experience.

• Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.

• Strong operational and financial management skills.

• Established relationships within the Southern California transportation market.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $216,000 – $240,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
