The business offers an opportunity to join an organisation where you can have genuine exposure to the operation, work alongside experienced mining professionals and contribute to the next stage of its growth. ## About the Role You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and achievable underground mining plans, working closely with site operations and mining contractors to ensure plans translate effectively into production. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with short and medium-term underground mine planning and optimisation. - Developing and maintaining production schedules, forecasts and planning documentation. - Producing practical underground mine designs that align with operational requirements. - Reviewing production performance and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency. - Supporting budgeting, reporting and Life of Mine planning activities. - Working closely with mining contractors and underground operational teams to ensure plans are practical and achievable. - Collaborating with Geology, Survey and Technical Services to deliver integrated mining outcomes. - Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity and cost performance. - Supporting a strong safety culture across all technical and operational activities. ## About You We are looking for a Mining Engineer who combines solid technical capability with a practical, hands-on approach to underground mining.
